What about oggplay skins...

Ok I know that there are a few people that have sent or post skins for oggplay, asking me to upload them to my site. Sorry for being slow on this but I have put all my efforts on the oggplay skin creator. I'll upload them though as soon as I'll have a break on the project. As for my skins, I have to say sorry cause I haven't done any new effort for a long time. I had some skins but they were never finished, and I doubt I will find the work especially after the hard disk failures I had on christmas. Be tuned though at All About SX1.

I was away this weekend having a break, a small vacation. But now I am back. Also resumed the development of the Oggplay skin creator project. I have to create some functions for resizing and moving objects, to avoid code repeating in the program.

If there is a demand I'll may post screenshots to showcase how the program will look.

Free Time Finally

Summer is here eventually and now finally I have enough free time to spent on things other than studies. One of these is a program I had in mind to do a long time ago but the knoledge on programming was very low back then.

Now things are different. And so the project has begun. The "Oggplay skin Creator" becomes slowly a reality. I am writting it in C++ using Borland Builder 6 and there aren't many things done yet. Stay tuned here for more information on the exact state of the development.

Ok I've been here for some time, haven't written much cause of beeing too busy. i am not a very talkative person Because I like to show things not tell them. So I've been busy in making something totally new out of my Web Site. Something like a portal at www.memphisx.tk and a making the www.allaboutsx1.tk unique. But I was also working on a brand new website. That is Music Foundry.

You won't find anything yet, but it will 100% about music. I hope some friends will help make the site appeal good.

Other than that summer is coming as well as my university exams :(
Oh and by the way I had my birthday two weeks ago. But that is old news...

Prologue

1999
The year that my journey to the world wide web started. I was a newbie but I was learning fast. After all a PC guru learning stuff by his self. That was me.

2000
A year was enough to see the potential behind the net. I was too young back then and everything I was doing was for fun. I was mainly using the web as a tool for my knoledge hunger and my entertainment needs. Then the time came to create a website. It was to early then. Simple html written in MS Frontpage 98. No real potential. Just fun. just a hoby.

2002-2003
My symbian career started. I bought my first Symbian smartphone and my technical knowledge was expanding. I was learning and learning. Knoledge was power. But power used for good. All About Symbian. The Site that made me a little famous to say the truth. The only thing I was doing was to participate to the forums. Back then we were very few in the symbian community. I became a regular. I made a thousand posts, by helping people or just exchanging opinions. We were a small family back then, but the symbian community was expanding. Nokia had big plans.

2004
I was still there but not the same. Many have gone. The small town named AAS became a Huge City. I got my SX1. I believe that I played my part in helping people understand the symbian nature, something strange for most Siemens mobile users. AAS was just the tool right then cause many of the friends I made where gone. I was alone. It was not enough for me. In the end of this year I've made a huge update to my old abandoned website. I also started posting on the My Phone forums, a greek site.

1st half 2005
The start of a new era. Still my work was not enough. And frontpage was inadequate for the task of creating more than a website. Creating a community was what I wanted. php-nuke was the next step. I made the change. Popularity grew up very quickly especially due to my skins for oggplay, a music application for symbian series 60 phones. But there was always a problem. Time was never enough. I also had other things like my university studies. And also wanted to do many different thing. One of them was music. DJing, mixing and producing. I was making my first steps. That was something I could easily spend the rest of my life doing.

2nd half 2005
I tried to show my self through a site with profiles. Just for fun. Rate my body was the site but it was not enough. I lost interest very quickly. Vampirefreaks was the next. It was different. My needs for having a more intelectual connection with people other than just being the tech support was big. So I gradually got myself being a regular at VF. I also made friends through IRC. Internet became the mirror of my personal life. My digital self was here. Then a greek profile site named Pathfinder was the next station. Still there but not so busy.

2006
My site was famous with all the oggplay skins. But I was not there. Time was not enough.I didn't know where to spend my time. Music, Studies, Symbian, Skinning ? But none of my work were dead. I have plans. The first was Bingbox. The last profile site. The other is updating my site. Making it a community as I have planned in the beginning. And what about me? The answer is here. My first blog. Whatever my opinion is on everything will be written here, not speciffically on Symbian. And music. This is the beginning. Maybe a brand new site. www.djmemphisx for my music hunger posting my sets and tracklistings. Time will say.

For now, this is just the beginning of a new era for my... DIGITAL LIFE
